How to Get Your Content Shared

THAT was shared? My content is much better than that! How come people aren’t sharing my content?”

When it comes to social media, you’ve probably had such thoughts race through your mind at some time or other. Fortunately, there are several ways to increase the likelihood of your content being shared. The best part is: these methods do not require any drastic changes to your process. Here are a few tips you can try out next time:

Ask

Maybe your customers have specific topics they would like to read about, or maybe they have questions about your industry. Ask them and find out what they want. Content that answer your customers’ burningquestions are more likely to be shared across social media networks. This is a great way for you to alleviate writer’s block.

Stunning Visuals

Add pictures and videos to all your content! With so many distractions today, most people might not bother to read through entire chunks of text. After all, a block of text is boring, even if you use the prettiest of font styles.

Time Your Posts

When you should post your content is often overlooked. On Facebook, the best times to post are on weekends at around 1 PM. On Twitter, the best time to send out a tweet is 5 PM. Remember, content needs to be seen before it can be shared.
